Stainless steel is all around us and surrounds our everyday life in more ways than we realise, stainless steel is also found inside the home in the form of many products such as cutlery and stainless steel balustrades and handrails for ornamental staircases.
Stainless steel is also used in many industries such as the dairy industry that use huge stainless steel tanks to store and refrigerate milk during the manufacturing process. Swimming pool areas use stainless steel handrails for their stairs, slides and sometimes seating area. Stainless steel is particularly ideal for swimming pool environments because it has a low rust occurrence rate. There are many chemicals in the water which in turn will rise into the atmosphere and then settle back down upon the various apparatus in the pool area. Specific grades of stainless steel are used in order to suit a particular environment and full reports are always carried out on each individual job in order to provide correct specifications.
Stainless steel products are also used in many other industries such as the food industry, pipe-works, water process installations and water storage tanks.
